We were greeted by friendly and attentive hosts who offered us secure parking for our motorbike after a wet day of travel. the building itself is a beautiful country house with a style that reflects its history and picturesque location. the bedroom was comfortable and tastefully furnished, complete with a kettle, tea and coffee making tray, and a real coffee machine down the hallway for those craving a proper cup of coffee. We felt privileged to stay in such a lovely home, and although we were unable to see the garden due to the time of year, we enjoyed a grand breakfast and the tranquil countryside surroundings. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. Cons: Couldn't fault 👍.

Amazing location, loyal staff, DELIGHTFUL breakfast. Great for a wedding ceremony. If you travel by car, flatford mill is 15 minutes' drive away. Go to Spice, set near the apartment and enjoy every bite of your meals.

My partner and I stayed at Holbecks House for a weekend getaway and it exceeded all our expectations. Perry, our host, was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The room was spacious, with a massive bed and a lovely view of the garden. The bathroom was impressively large and there was always an instant supply of hot water, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was excellent, and the owners went out of their way to accommodate my vegan diet, which was greatly appreciated. The location of the property was perfect - peaceful and secluded, yet just a short walk from the village center. We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived with lots of fluffy towels, dressing gowns, and slippers provided. Holbecks House is now one of my favorite places to stay when I travel.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Lovely house, beautiful setting, excellent hospitality
We had an amazing stay at this charming B&B. The house itself is full of character and the location is simply breathtaking. Perry, our host, was so warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was delicious, although a little more fruit would have added the perfect touch. The peacefulness of the grounds and the short walk to town made our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and memorable experience.

Text: Absolutely loved the stunning views of Dedham Vale, felt like being in one of Constable's famous paintings. The cozy apartment with fireplace and garden views was a treat. Buffet breakfast was scrumptious. Only downside? Not enough time to explore all the nearby attractions.
